Of Place

Alison Williams is the CEO at Of Place and manages the company’s retail strategy and development management practice. Alison takes a holistic approach to placemaking with a focus on investment returns to ensure that the assets are best positioned to optimally perform during lease up and operations. During her tenure at Of Place, the company has informed planning and led retail execution for twenty mixed-use master plans nationally, each comprising between two to ten million square feet, including Water Street Tampa in FL, Rice Village in TX, and National Landing in VA.

Prior to joining Of Place, Alison was a member of the development team with Federal Realty Investment Trust, where she participated in the development efforts for some of the company’s most notable mixed-use projects including Assembly Row in MA, Pike & Rose in MD, and Bethesda Row in MD. Alison received her M.B.A. from University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and her B.S. in Business Administration from American University’s Kogod School of Business. Alison currently serves as a ULI mentor for the Washington DC region.
