Chris Holm currently serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for The Perot Companies, a family-owned multi-national enterprise comprised of private companies and business units, including Hillwood and other Perot family interests. As CIO, Chris is accountable for delivery and evolution of all IT services and systems to the enterprise’s dynamic and entrepreneurial businesses. While at The Perot Companies, Chris has led multiple high-profile initiatives: Envisioned and led execution of business applications projects to improve business processes for Finance/Accounting, Customer Relations, and Data/Analytics to improve insights & decisions; Built a world-class cyber-security program across infrastructure, security operations & monitoring, and Associate awareness programs; Consolidated multiple diverse teams, outsourcers, & infrastructure, while modernizing infrastructure platforms and driving a simultaneous data center transition; Led an IT Service Management initiative, establishing the 1st IT Service Desk in company history, resulting in a 96%+ overall IT client satisfaction rate sustained over 5 years; Led major projects such as the transformation of Hillwood.com in 2013 to modernize digital marketing capabilities across all business units, and RossPerot.com in 2019 to honor the life & legacy of the company’s trail-blazing Texas entrepreneur Chris was previously the Director of IT Risk, Security & Quality for TXU Energy, a Texas-based deregulated electricity retailer, where he was responsible for systems & service security, IT risk management and overall IT quality delivery to stakeholders and customers. Prior to TXU, Chris was an Associate Director at Protiviti, leading IT Process Improvement and Security services in the Southwest while supporting engagements globally. He focused on IT governance, IT service management, information security, and IT audit in nearly every industry. Chris started his business career at Arthur Anderson in 1999, after a military career in the U.S. Army culminating as a Captain in the Corps of Engineers, with leadership positions in combat and engineering units around the world. He is the recipient of the Army’s Meritorious Service Medal and multiple peacetime awards. Chris is a 1994 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and received his MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1999. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for The Warren Center (Richardson, Texas) and his local Homeowners Association Board.
