Edward E. Burr

Ed Burr is President and CEO of GreenPointe Holdings, a diversified holding company that brings together the necessary disciplines to create sustainable, high-value communities throughout the Southeast. Burr is widely considered a leader in the real estate industry for his ability to analyze real estate potential and to lead companies that create unparalleled communities known for their recreational, residential, and commercial value.

Prior to leading GreenPointe, Burr founded the LandMar Group, and led the company’s creation of master-planned, award-winning communities in Florida and coastal Georgia. Burr also founded Hampton Golf & Lifestyles Management with former PGA of America President M.G. Orender in 1998 to develop and manage golf courses and community recreational facilities across the country.

Throughout his career, Burr has been actively engaged in many business, civic, community and charitable organizations. Currently serving on the Board of the Florida Council of 100, Burr served on the Florida State University Board of Trustees for more than 10 years including as Chairman of the Board.

In 1997, Burr founded The Monique Burr Foundation for Children (MBF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the best prevention education programs to protect youth from child victimization. MBF has reached 9 million children in 38 states and six countries. Burr has received numerous accolades for his dedicated service to the community and real estate development industry. His recent honors include the 2022 Ultimate CEO Award, the 2021 Hearthstone Humanitarian Award, and the ULI North Florida 2021 Visionary Leader award.
