Jason Rickards

Jason Rickards is a Founding Partner and In-House Counsel at Bonfire Collective, a Utah-based development and construction platform spanning Bonfire Development, Bonfire Construction, and Bonfire Interiors & Wholesale. He leads entitlement, land strategy, and transactional execution across the company’s portfolio, including Velvaere — a Park City community designed around holistic well-being and life vitality in Deer Valley’s East Village.

Jason brings more than twenty years across both sides of the land equation. Before Bonfire, he served as President of Magleby Development, co-founded the land division at JDH Development, and held land acquisition and regional leadership roles with David Weekley Homes and Richmond American Homes of Utah. He began his career as corporate counsel and acquisitions director for a private land investment firm.

He holds a JD from McGeorge School of Law and an MBA from CSU Sacramento, is a member of the California State Bar, and is a licensed real estate broker in Utah.
